Donald P. Beeman; Chief Executive Officer & Chairman of the Board. Mr. Beeman has over 28 years of executive experience in the pharmaceutical and vaccine industry. Previously, Mr. Beeman was the Vice President for Merck's Vaccine Division. Mr. Beeman established a strong leadership reputation at Merck, having held executive positions in the Pharmaceutical and Marketing Divisions in both the United States and Australia. Before joining LigoCyte, Mr. Beeman served as President and Co-Founder of Topaz Pharmaceuticals, LLC. Robert R. Goodwin, Ph.D.; President & Chief Operating Officer. Dr. Goodwin became President at LigoCyte in November of 2005. Dr. Goodwin joined the company in 2000 as the Director of Business Development and was later promoted to Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. Dr. Goodwin has degrees in Bioengineering from UCLA and the University of Utah, and has extensive experience in intellectual property licensing. Formerly the director of technology transfer at the University of Rochester (Rochester, NY), he has also held business development and research positions in the medical device industry. At LigoCyte, Dr. Goodwin's experience and educational background are applied to overseeing company operations and expanding the company's commercial opportunities.

Robert F. Bargatze, Ph.D.;
Executive Vice President, Chief Scientific Officer. Dr. Bargatze manages LigoCyte's research programs with a focus on product development. He has 29 years of experience in leading immunological research projects to define the role of selectins, integrins, and chemokines in white blood cell recruitment, and has published extensively on endothelial bioadhesion and signaling. Charles E. Richardson, Ph.D.; Executive Vice President, Research and Development. Dr. Richardson directs LigoCyte’s pre-clinical development activities in support of clinical trials and regulatory filings. His expertise in guiding both therapeutics and vaccines through development into clinical trials comes from his 15 years of senior management experience working for Corixa Corporation and Ribi ImmunoChem Research, Inc. Larry W. Mikkola, MBA, CPA; Controller, Director of Finance. A certified public accountant, Mr. Mikkola manages LigoCyte’s finance and accounting functions. He has finance and accounting experience with publicly traded companies.
