The ProteoFlow system is a value added tool that allows LigoCyte to characterize cell surface interactions under true physiologic conditions using fully human cell systems. These unique, dynamic assays measure a drug’s effect on whole human cells in dynamic cell-cell interactions providing better information than typical assays that measure target binding affinity in static conditions. LigoCyte uses this proprietary assay system to accurately measure the performance of its internally developed anti-inflammatory drug candidates. LigoCyte also uses the ProteoFlow system to drive collaborative relationships with other biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies such as Merck, Aventis, ICOS, GlaxoSmithKline, Dyax, WYETH/Genetics Institute, Biogen/Idec and Eli Lilly.
